Setting Default Privacy Settings for Attendees

Setting Default Privacy Settings for Attendees

If your app contains the MyProfile functionality, as the app admin you have the ability to set the default privacy settings for the attendee list.

Fields set as public are visible to anyone who has access to the attendee/member list in the app.

Fields set as private are only visible to individuals the user has chosen to share their profile with.

Users can edit which fields they want private/public via their MyProfile in the app.

To set the default Privacy Settings take the following steps:

1. Within the Attendees/Members module click the Action button & select 'Privacy Settings'.

2. By default each field will display the grey unlock icon meaning that the field is set to public.

3. To change a field to private click the grey unlock icon so it turns to the red lock icon.

4. Click Save.
